Special Forces Training – Because Something’s Coming!

Special Forces Training – Because Something’s Coming!

“You will save more souls through sacrifice and prayer than will a missionary through his teachings and sermons alone.” – Our Lord to Saint Faustina

It’s “Go Time!”

On October 16, 1917 – just 3 days after the Miracle of the Sun in Fatima – St. Maximilian Kolbe founded the confraternity known as “The Militia of the Immaculata,” a movement whose purpose is “to convert sinners, heretics, and especially Masons, and to sanctify all under the patronage and through the intercession of the Immaculate Virgin Mary.” In advance of the Nazi invasion of Poland, hundreds of thousands were consecrated to Jesus through Mary, due to Father Kolbe’s efforts.

“While St. Maximilian Kolbe’s push for consecration was the largest,” according to Father Gaitley, “the one going on right now is the second-largest ever, and the largest since St. Maximilian Kolbe’s.” There’s a “historical reason” for the new push to consecration. Fr. Gaitley said. “there’s something happening, something moving, something ahead,” while no one knows specifically what is coming.

Michael Voris offers sage advice for facing the “something ahead:”

If you are not preparing yourself now, and your family now, bracing yourselves spiritually for the darkness into which civilization is descending, you will not survive. You will inherit Satan for your father. People do not suddenly decide to suffer for the Faith. They prepare themselves to suffer great hardships for the Faith, by undergoing little hardships and sacrifices in advance. You could think of it as a kind of dress rehearsal. Our Blessed Lord Himself said conversely: If you cannot be trusted in small matters, you cannot be trusted in larger ones (Luke 16:10).

Heroes do not miraculously appear. They have the stuff of heroism inside them all along, cultivated and molded and formed, waiting to emerge publicly if and when the correct circumstances arise. …

Such was the course of countless saints — who are, after all, the heroes of the Faith. But not one of them scaled the greater heights of holiness without first mastering the lesser heights. How did they do this? By choosing a life of prayer and sacrifice: prayer to unite themselves to Heaven while still on earth, and sacrifice to unite themselves to Christ suffering. Without the conscious choosing of this route, a person will fall away when the test comes.

And, Pope Benedict XVI (then, Cardinal Ratzinger) implores us to seek the strength of Mary:

“The Heart open to God, purified by contemplation of God, is stronger than guns and weapons of every kind. The fiat of Mary, the word of her heart, has changed the history of the world, because it brought the Saviour into the world—because, thanks to her Yes, God could become man in our world and remains so for all time. The Evil One has power in this world, as we see and experience continually; he has power because our freedom continually lets itself be led away from God.”

Let’s Be Prepared! Let’s Train!

We are asking all of the faithful to join us in this “Special Forces Training.” A term borrowed from the military, but speaks precisely to the great need today … God needs an army of saints in training who are filled with the “special force” of His supernatural grace!

On June 4, 2015 (leading up to the Feast of the Immaculate Heart of Mary), we are asking everyone to join us as we follow Fr. Maximilian Kolbe’s 9-Day Preparation for Total Consecration to Jesus through Mary. In essence, this will be a “Three Hearts Consecration.” On day one, we will entrust ourselves to the Chaste Heart of St. Joseph. On day nine – the Feast of the Sacred Heart of Jesus – we will pray the Act of Reparation to the Sacred Heart of Jesus, which offers a plenary indulgence when prayed on that day.

“We must be willing to recover the zeal and the spirit of the first century Christians … unless we are willing to do what they did and pay the price they paid, the future of our country, the days of America, are numbered.” -Fr. John Hardon, S.J.
